Woo-hoo! Thank you for welcoming me to Cheer Peppers and the NanoPoblano! It seemed like an introduction might be in order.
This is my second stint living at Lake Tahoe, California and I have been here this time for about 24 years. I was a teenager when I lived here before, and in-between I spent about 20 years in the Midwest. I studied English, Journalism and Training and Development in University back there, and then I came on home to the mountains.
Tahoe is a beautiful place to live, and these days it is easier to make a living here thanks to the internet. My business, Typozappers, specializes in supporting people to create their most authentic message ever. We do this by providing editing and proofreading services, as well as coaching for those who have not yet identified what they want to communicate. In this day and age of self-publishing, more and more entrepreneurs are producing books to establish their expertise; this is the group we love to play with the most. I work with authors all across the country, and get to enjoy living in this beautiful place.
I joined this community (and blogging challenge!) to hang out more with Carolyn Owens and the people she runs with. We have known each other for a few years and she is an inspiration… as well as a blast! I know that being a part of a group with her will grow me in great ways.
